When? Tuesday evenings from September to Easter
What time? From 7.30pm

The Prayer meeting and Bible Study are held each Tuesday evening over the winter months, from mid-September until Easter. The meeting for Prayer is held at 7.30, the Bible study at 8.00p.m. with a short break in between for a cup of tea. Opportunity is given for all those attending to bring their prayer requests, which are wide-ranging. All who wish to pray aloud are encouraged to do so, though ‘silent’ prayer is equally acceptable. No one is ever put under any pressure.

The Bible Study over the past session has covered the letters of the Apostle Paul to the Galatians and the Philippians. Led by the Minister, the text is studied in detail and everyone is enabled to make their observations and ask questions. We also took a look at the life of a ‘local’ man, C.S. Lewis. The atmosphere is again kept deliberately unpressured.

We are always encouraging greater numbers to come to the Prayer meeting and Bible Study, knowing that ultimately it is in these areas that we can find the true measure of the spiritual realities in the life and work of the congregation.
